Dr. Patrick is a graduate of Leeds University in the North Eastern Part of the United Kingdom. He is originally from Derbyshire with strong family roots in the West Coast of Ireland. He lives in Peregian Springs with his Wife, Mary from Long Island , New York and their three children Tiernan, Shamus and Liam.
During 1997 he undertook elective training at the University Of Witwatersrand Dental Department in Johannesburg, South Africa. He travelled extensively through Africa and found it to be an amazing beautiful country.
Up until 2002 Dr Patrick worked in the United Kingdom in Bletchley, Buckinghamshire and Much Hadham in Hertfordshire during this time he undertook his membership exams to the Royal College of Surgeons in London. Dr. Patrick passed and was awarded membership to the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners, Royal College of Surgeons, London, United Kingdom.
Continuing his post graduate education he was also extensively trained in Occlusion with Niles Guichet Associates, was made an associate member and become a member of the British Society Of Occlusal Studies. He took numerous postgraduate education courses at prestigious institutions in London including Eastman Institute, Kings College, Guys Dental Hospital, Oxford Deanery and independent seminars on the then emerging field of Dental Implants. He was also an active member in the Royal London Dental Study Club which associated with the finest Dental minds in and around London.
In 2002 he travelled extensively and arrived in Australia where he undertook a number of different appointment in Rural and Remote Australia a fascinating and eye opening time. He worked from Swan Hill to the Snowy Mountains and from Byron Bay to Darwin with stops in Cairns which he loved.
After two successful years on the Gold Coast we moved finally to the Sunshine Coast and embarked on Opening Riverside Dental. Riverside Dental is a practice dedicated to providing High Quality General, Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry in a relaxed caring environment. We aim to enhance our patients lives through improved health, aesthetics and pain free living.
